We install and set up your blog site according to your specifications. Contact forms, pages and anti-spam plugins are set up at this point.
WordPress Multisite
If you’d like to offer blogs to your customers then WordPress multisite offers that functionality. We will install and set up WordPress multisite on request. Multisite allows you to run many blogs each with their own domain similar to wordpress.com. This solution is perfect for companies who wish to offer their employees a company blog. It’s also possible to have this installed as an intranet solution so that only employees can see the content. Depending on your needs this option may incurr some coding charges but if extra coding is required we will be sure to let you know well in advance.
BuddyPress
BuddyPress allows you to create a quick and simple social network based on the WordPress platform. Silver and Gold members can have this installed on request. Depending on your needs this option may incurr some coding charges but if extra coding is required we will be sure to let you know well in advance. Custom theme
We create a WordPress theme to your specifications. The actual design process is the most difficult part of creating your site. It helps if you have written down as much information as you can about how you want the site to look, also send along text, logos and any other images you’d like in the design. What would you like your site to say about you/your company? What kind of colours do you feel are appropriate for your site? Once we have as much information as possible we create a proposed layout and the layout goes back and forth until you are satisfied with it. Once a layout is approved we turn it into a WordPress theme.
Please note that for multisite users we only create one theme i.e the theme you will use on the main site blog. If you would like more themes then these will have to be ordered seperately.
Extra code customisation
Sometimes the basic software installation doesn’t quite cover all of the things you’d like your users to be able to do. If there is no existing plugin or extension for your required functionality then we have the ability to create it. Any possible extra code customisation will be mentioned in advance so you have time to decide whether your site really requires the extra work.
Extensions
We will install and configure extensions (plugins) for your site. Your extension limit does not count basic plugins such as spam prevention and contact forms. Once you have sent us guidelines on what you’d like your site to do we then find the best extensions to provide your functionality.
Maintenance
All of our packages come with a maintenance period of a year. Maintenance covers software updates, text modifications and possible cleaning. For more information on our maintenance packages please see the product page.
Hosting
We provide site hosting through one of our affiliate companies. We work alongside this company meaning that any problems are resolved quickly. Hosting is an optional extra and includes email forwarding from your domain to an email address of your choice.
Domain
We provide domain names through one of our affiliate companies. We work alongside this company meaning that any problems are resolved quickly. Domain names are an optional extra and are charged yearly.
